Hacer públicos criterios para seleccionar integrantes del Instituto de Protección, pide Iniciativa Sinaloa a Congreso de Sinaloa
- Iniciativa Sinaloa y Comisión de Vigilancia urgen al Congreso del Estado de Sinaloa implementar un proceso transparente en la evaluación de quienes ocuparán la dirección y el Consejo Consultivo del organismo autónomo que se encargará de proteger los derechos de personas defensoras y periodistas.-
Culiacán, Sinaloa, a 12 de julio de 2022.-A dos días de concluir la revisión de expedientes, Iniciativa Sinaloa AC y la Comisión de Vigilancia urgen al Congreso del Estado a hacer públicos los criterios con que se habrá de evaluar a las y los aspirantes a dirigir el Instituto para la Protección de Personas Defensoras de Derechos Humanos y Periodistas del Estado de Sinaloa, así como a integrar su Consejo Consultivo.
Esto con el objetivo de disminuir el riesgo de discrecionalidad en la determinación final y garantizar que estos criterios responden a elementos objetivos, de acuerdo con la Ley para la Protección de Personas Defensoras de DDHH y Periodistas, aprobada el 24 de mayo de este año.
Entre otros puntos, periodistas que integran la Comisión de Vigilancia exhortan a los diputados a implementar prácticas de transparencia, como la publicación de los expedientes de cada uno de los participantes antes de la evaluación, a fin de que la sociedad pueda conocer y dar seguimiento al proceso, pues hasta el momento de la última revisión esta información aún no se encontraba disponible en la página del Congreso local.
Es preocupante que a poco tiempo de que concluya el proceso de designación, aún no se atiendan las recomendaciones, pues éstas buscan fortalecerlo otorgándole más transparencia, confianza y credibilidad al mismo. También es preocupante que prácticas que ya se venían haciendo anteriormente, como lo es la publicación de los expedientes, en esta ocasión ya no se estén haciendo; esto marcaría un retroceso” Señaló Marlene León, directora de Iniciativa Sinaloa, A.C.
El pasado jueves, Iniciativa Sinaloa y parte de la comisión se reunió con el diputado Ambrocio Chávez, presidente de la Comisión de Puntos Constitucionales y Gobernación, para hacerle entrega de esta y otras recomendaciones,a fin de contribuir a la transparencia del proceso de selección y a generar mayor confianza en la ciudadanía.
Entre estas recomendaciones, que resultaron de un diagnóstico del colectivo Designaciones Públicas, se planteó la implementación de mecanismos de participación ciudadana para que se puedan hacer llegar preguntas del público a las y los aspirantes durante la etapa de comparecencias, programada para el próximo 20 de julio. Asimismo, que se anuncie con anticipación la fecha en que se darán a conocer públicamente los resultados.

I’m not sure why but this blog is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
